I have been retired for seven years. I drive my significant other to work into manhatten 3 days a week, and i see a lot of homeless people on the street. I bring them the leftover food i have left in my refrigerator. I heat it up before i leave home and hand it out in different parts of lower manhatten. When I offer my services to the less fortunate I am not just performing an act of kindness, I am responding to Gods calling to help others. I have a few friends living in Arizona who tell me that the homeless situation is bad over there as well. I would like to go there and scout for a location to open up a soup kitchen with showers and donated clothes to freshen up the homeless people. I would appreciate any help I can get.
