About Me
My parents have profoundly influenced my life and art. Through their teachings, I discovered the invaluable strength of perseverance, which has propelled me toward my goals. My father's emphasis on planning and goal-setting and my mother's creative intuition empowered me to trust my instincts and let my creativity thrive. Navigating life with different parental figures gifted me important lessons in entrepreneurship and work-life balance. Working alongside my mother in our family restaurant, she instilled in me the importance of pursuing dreams while also prioritizing self-care and spiritual growth. Her introduction to Buddhism and meditation has helped me overcome past traumas and deepened my connection to my inner self, enriching my creative journey. As a self-taught artist, I owe my artistic identity to my parents' wisdom and diverse cultural background. While I may not have extensively studied art history, inspiration flows from the galleries and exhibitions I visit. I am deeply grateful for the support of donors who believe in my work, as I strive to find joy in my artistic pursuit. I have shared my work across the U.S. and was featured in “The Art of Living Gallery” http://youtu.be/zQTcdX_NxTg, where I discussed how art has been a source of healing from domestic violence. Additionally, I contributed to “Portrait of Abuse: An American Epidemic” http://youtu.be/SQeS4nts1Kw, shining a light on the harsh realities of domestic violence in America.
