30-year old Kenyan devoted to working with people living with disabilities, young people and underrepresented populations in the society. Engaging in youth work and community services has taught me to respect vulnerability, a person’s right to choose, suffering and the responsibility we have in providing quality care. I see my participation in the German BFD (Bundesfreiwilligendienst) voluntary program as an opportunity to sustain my Christian values of enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of individuals who were impacted by social disadvantages.
