About Me
Hi! I’m a passionate, fifth-year special education teacher who believes that every child, no matter where they are in the world, deserves access to a quality education. Growing up in Massachusetts, I was lucky to receive a strong education, and it shaped who I am today. I’m committed to understanding and addressing educational inequities, both at home and abroad. Throughout my teaching career, I’ve had the privilege to work and volunteer in diverse settings — from a reservation in South Dakota, to rural Oklahoma, to the Mississippi Delta. Each experience has fueled my passion for building bridges through education and advocating for students who are often overlooked. Outside of teaching, I’m an avid reader, writer, and traveler. I believe that stories — whether lived or written — have the power to connect and inspire us.
