About Me

Howdy! Thanks for taking the time to look at my profile, I hope I am able to give you some insight to who I am and the things I am passionate about outside of my study abroad program. For starters, I am a proud owner of a 3 year old blue heeler/border collie mix, he is reactive so I am very passionate about his training and making sure that he always feels safe and loved. I will miss him dearly while I am away but he will be staying with someone he sees almost everyday who he loves very much and that I trust will treat him as their own in the meantime. I also have a pet mouse, she is just the cutest little thing and my dog gets so excited when she gets to run around in her exercise ball. As I am a design student, it may be a given that I love to be creative, but I'll say it anyways. I love painting, sewing, drawing and I am currently selling handmade friendship bracelets as well as digital paintings in order to add to my trip fund. I have created an instagram page for these items and if you are interested in checking out my work the username is @hbb.creations. I also have recently discovered that I thoroughly enjoy baking and I'm not half bad at it so I hope to sell baked items very soon as well! A significant part of who I am is thanks to the summer camp I attended and work at called Rocky River Ranch. It is an all girls camp dedicated to creating strong, independent girls and it has been truly rewarding to play a role in these girls' journey to being successful young women just as my counselors did for me when I was a camper. This will be my 10th summer spent at camp and I am so excited to go back after missing last summer due to the pandemic. Unfortunately this will be my last summer as I am intending on finding an internship for next summer to prepare myself for the real world after graduation, but I will cherish every last second. If you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me! If you're feeling generous a donation to my trip would be greatly appreciated, or simply sharing is of great help as well! :)
