About Me
Hello, am Henry Kasagamy from Kenya, a freelance journalist and a climate change/human health activist. I come from a humble background where education was a challenge for me. But by God's grace i was one of the very few who managed to access education. I have a podcast that i usually use to reach people in my community across ages and teach them on the importance of education, empowerment programs, importance of environmental conservation, and give them hope that it is possible to live in a green world with a clean and renewable energy. It always breaks my heart to see children lacking school uniforms, basic needs like food and clean drinking due to drought especially in North Eastern Kenya, this leads to malnutrition, dropping out of school and disease outbreak. But it is quite challenging because i can't reach and interact with my audience in a personal level due to financial inadequacy. I will be volunteering for Two months by travelling to North Eastern Kenya and In children homes in vulnerable communities like mine to teach them on water sanitization, Environment conservation, smart agriculture and engage households in transitioning into clean cooking energy in order to reduce carbon emission. This is a mission and it requires a lot of travelling, team work, meeting new people, share ideas and find a solution. Am kindly requesting you to be part of this mission by funding my travel and facilitation towards this humanitarian course. I have a budget of USD 4,830. Any amount from you will be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance for being a true supporter and believing that every human being is entitled to Human Rights.
