About Me

When I was little, I used to dream about exploring new countries and learn different languages. As I grew up, I kept that dream with me, trying to save money in order to study languages at university. People always told me "if you work hard, you'll make it". But at the end, I couldn't afford to go to university after my high school gratuation. So I got a job and started to earn money, saving them with that specific goal in mind. After 4 years, I finally made it! In September 2020 I enrolled at the University for Foreigners in Siena. I won a scholarship to pay a room in the dorms, food and trasports. I was afraid of not being good enough, being too old to start university now, but with my surprise, passion makes up for the years I lost. My major is Korean studies and I couldn't be more happy. Unfortunately, even if I study what I love, I still struggle with money, barely making it at the end of the month. Even if I have good marks, I do not have the financial resources to apply at the international exchange student program in South Korea next year. That's why I decided to try any possibility and now I'm here.
