Greetings, All 4/1/2025 marks the anniversary of the first time I visited beautiful, breathtaking Dominican Republic. Yep! I fell in love! I went back every month until June. I went back in August and stayed until September. I hadn't been able to go back since. Big frown During that first visit, my goals were to open a bank account and get involved in Real Estate. On the plane ride over, I met a friendly, stand up, Dominican investor who invited me to his bank to meet his banker. I was able to open that bank account my first day there! I appreciate him for that. A few day later, I had purchased a promo vacation club package which allowed me to rent the beach resorts out on my short term rental platform. I was incredibly excited. I was able to accomplish my goals in a country that i had never been to, didn't know anyone, didn't speak the language, in just 4 days. I've decided that I want to start a business there and purchase property there. I do, obviously, have a life to support in my home country. During my other visits throughout the year, I was able to meet a few friends. Ironically, most of them are American vets. They are living the life out there! I need funding to be able to move along at a more favorable rate. I'm confident that I can build there with proper funding. Having to do it all on my own is quite the challenge.
