My name is. Jacqueline I currently live in Michigan USA, I was diagnosed with genetic disorder called retinitis pigmentosa , which is causing blindness in my eyes. I currently have very limited central vision, and have no peripheral vision left. Since my diagnosis I’ve been tying to travel to see all the beautiful places on this planet. I love to go to places and learn from the local and indigenous peoples about their customs, culture, agriculture. I enjoy spending time with families as I travel to different regions. Exploring artifacts and ruins learning about the rich history of the places i visit. Learning how to cook traditional foods when visiting the different families on my travels is something i really love. I also enjoy being in nature as much as possible rather it hiking mountains, surfing in the ocean or a quite moment reflecting . I love meeting and connecting deeply with people on my travels as it weaves the story of my life. When I’m back in Michigan I put my energy and time in supporting and building community. By far the most fulfilling part of my life is being a mother to my adult son. When returning home from my adventures i get to share all my stories along with making and preparing some of the dishes i learned how to cook. I also try to learn about problems with the water in each region i visit and how my life impacts that and what active roles i can do to help with the preservation of the waters and natural habits in each place i visit.
