I am currently a psychology/neuroscience major at the University of Colorado Boulder, and I am interested in working with patients in hospitals who have lost normal, everyday functioning of their brain due to brain damage, brain surgery, or any kind of neurological deficit. I am graduating from my undergraduate program with a Bachelor's of Science and a Public Health Certificate in three years, ending August 2019. I plan on going to grad school to get my PhD in Neuropsychology, but I want to gain experience in the mental health field before I apply, which is where this Ghana internship comes in! I love traveling, and am very well traveled. I am interested in immersing myself other cultures and learning new things. I love school and being active. I am currently working two jobs to put myself through university, and am looking for any kind of help to get me to Ghana next October 2019!
