About Me
I am a mother of 4, a full time manager at a Trader Joe's in Albuquerque, NM, and a full time return learner at the University of New Mexico. I study Psychology, Anthropology and Human Services, and am set to graduate this fall, Summa Cum Laude. I initially went to school for Natural Sciences, and spent many years working in the field of infectious disease, primarily HIV and AIDS. My hope is to return to that work in Africa and South America at some point, working in family planning with women and children to prevent the spread of disease and help secure vital resources like medication. I love to ride my bike, travel and immerse myself in other cultures.
