Hello lovelies, I have created this post on behalf of my AMAZING son, Jose Sebastian Franco. Sebastian is 36, and is high-functioning autistic, and legally blind. This DOES NOT define him, as he lives his dreams as best as he/we can. Sebastian was born legally blind at birth, and his vision stayed the same for most of his life. However, over the last several years, I have not only noticed his eyesight is worsening, but his glasses prescription has changed even deeper into the minus. My heart absolutely drops every time I see him reach for something and his perception is off, I just die a little each time, for I know what is coming. Sebastian is an artist, his main passion is drawing and painting on his computer. He has done illustrations for a children's book, and started a second project with another author, although that particular book is in limbo at tis time. His second passion is to see the Aroura Borealis. This dream has been on his bucket list since he was a young child. He draws pictures of the Northern Lights in hopes of bringing it to life. My dream is to make his dream come true, BEFORE HE GOES COMPLETELY BLIND. We do not have the means for this trip on our own. I am self employed, and Sebastian receives SSD. I am reaching out in hopes of raising enough money for the 2 of us to travel, lodge and have all amenities covered for 3-5 days. Any amount will help, it's all very appreciated.
