Hi there, my name is Jeremy Chong and I'm a final year Computer Science student with a specialism in Data Analytics at the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation in Malaysia. As an aspiring entrepreneur and innovator, I'm passionate about building solutions that solve real-world problems and make a difference in people's lives. In the past year, I've been working on my startup, Foodport, a social commerce platform that helps people discover the next viral food trend and connect with others who share their love of food. By combining the stickiness of a social media platform with the revenue-generating potential of an e-commerce platform, I believe that we can create something truly revolutionary. Along the way, I've won several startup and hackathon competitions, including a championship for Foodport and a hackathon in partnership with Google Cloud. I'm always eager to learn and grow as an entrepreneur, which is why I'm excited to attend a summer school program at De Montfort University in the UK to gain valuable knowledge and insights that will help me take my startup to the next level. Outside of work, I'm an avid traveler and a passionate foodie. I believe that exploring different cultures and cuisines is a great way to gain new perspectives and ideas, which is why I'm always seeking out new opportunities to travel and connect with people from around the world.
