About Me
My journey of walk is to present my plans for a better future to Hello, I’m Jeroen Nederveen. Once a successful ICT professional, my life took a drastic turn when I lost my father, mother and girlfriend, leading to the collapse of my business and eventually becoming homeless. During my time on the streets, I discovered the harsh realities and misconceptions surrounding homelessness. Walking has become a profound symbol of my journey and resilience. It represents my path from despair to hope, and my commitment to raising awareness about homelessness. In January 2024, I embarked on a significant walk from Zurich to Davos, as part of The Great Walk, to speak at the World Economic Forum. This journey is not just about the physical steps, but about making strides towards a world where everyone has a place to call home And in January 2025 I want to walk from The Hague, the town that I live in, to Davos. A walk of around 850km in 18 days.
