Hello! My name is Joana Migombo and I’m currently studying Communications, Media, and Technology with a minor in International Studies. My passion lies in exploring how media reflects and cultivates cultures and political climates across the world. I’ve always been fascinated by global cinema, and how storytelling evolves depending on a society's history, struggles, and voice. I’m raising funds to study in Prague, Czech Republic—a place where media and politics have a deeply intertwined history. I believe learning from this unique cultural context will help me grow as a filmmaker and creative director. My goal is to create honest, pure, and emotionally-driven media that connects people across borders.
