Greetings, My name is Joseph but many know me as Sonny. I am currently studying at Oklahoma City University majoring in Political Science and Philosophy with an emphasis in International Relations Pre-Law. I have worked hard to maintain a 3.9 GPA, become a member of the Honor's College, and be 1 of 5 at my university inducted in the Pi Sigma Alpha National Political Science Honor Society. During my time at OCU I have challenged myself to dig deep and find the things that fulfil me and make the most difference in my social groups and communities. Through this I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of capacities such as teaching English to refugees, participating in food outreach programs, community clean-ups, and international volunteer service in Belize. My next journey is spending my summer serving in Ecuador. I am very excited about this opportunity! My future goals include getting my Law Degree (J.D.) and using that knowledge and skill to develop my passion. While Im not exactly sure what that looks like currently, I know that I want to make use of my education to help people. I am thankful for those who helped guide me along my journey thus far both from near and afar. And I look forward to all the more that I will meet and grow relationships with.
