About Me

I worked in a hospital in Calif. for 40 years when I had to retire do to back and neck stenosis. I have had 3 surgeries because of it. ( I was a first responder, part of the emergency team). My husband and I were forced to move because our income was not enough to pay our mortgage and we could not afford our bills. We had taken care of his parents until they passed away, but it had taken all our savings to do that. (though we would do it again, knowing the outcome). A week after his mom died, my mom came to live with us. She lived with us for 4-5 years, before she moved into an assisted living facility. My husband and I moved to Idaho. Our income went down when I became disabled, shortly later my husband had a stroke and had to leave his job. My mom is now 94 years old and we are not sure how long she will be around. I was the baby of the family and was born on my mom’s Birthday. She wants to see me and I want to see her one more time before I can’t. Plus we would love to see the rest of our families and friends, as well as see some of our favorite sites (especially the ocean). BUT we need help to do it. My mom is called grandma by everyone. Grandma wants to see the babies, our two dogs, Grace and Mercy.
