About Me

I'm normally not one to ask anyone for money! But this coming summer I am hoping to return to Africa, to the same facility that I have been before. I'm hoping to go there to continue to learn more about the wonderful creatures I will be working with during my life. While I am there I will be taking care of animals every day, as well as working on the facility where they are housed. These animals have been saved from many horrible situations, including being rescued from canned hunting. If you want to know more about canned hunting, there is a wonderful documentary called Blood Lions that explains in full detail what it is and how we can work to prevent it. http://www.bloodlions.org/ Check it out and see why I am so passionate about helping out these marvelous creatures. I am returning to this facility, Felidae, because of the love that I have for the people, and the animals that are there. I hope to make this possible and be able to go for the majority of the summer in 2018 before I start at Michigan State University to finish off the last parts of my Zoology degree. I am planning on blogging my experience while I am there and will also be uploading photos as often as I can. If you are able to donate to my experience, while I am there I will take a picture of one of the lovely creatures I got to work with, and will send it to you personally!
