About Me

I am a graduate student in a marketing program. I am graduating in December with an MS in marketing and advertising, but because of COVID-19, most internships have been canceled. It's quite difficult to land a remote internship in America. Having the funds to travel and learn in South Korea is key. My career goal is to become an international marketer. I recently returned to the U.S. because of my visa expiration. While working on my Graduate degree (remotely) I was located in Seoul, South Korea. A majority of my research projects contained an integrated market of consumers from South Korea and the United States. I compared and contrast the markets between these locations for a more globalized process. The opportunity to intern in South Korea will give me the tools necessary to market globally and locally. I can work as a mediator for international consumers in South Korea and the United States. Each location has specific segmentations that may not be fully understood. Outside perspectives having lived and worked in both locations will aide in properly marketing protects to correct target segments. I have always had an affinity for Eastern Asia and creative careers. I think this opportunity will be essential and beneficial in balancing my career goals. I am familiar with South Korea and have a network of friends. I will not need any adjustment times and I am skilled at finding my way around. Marketing is the ideal career path for me. I am driven to research and understand consumer choices and markets such as beauty, fashion, and entertainment. Although I am open to all opportunities. This opportunity is invaluable to my future as an international marketer. Any funds that can be raised would be highly appreciated and used for educational purposes.
