I'm Kate - I'm 29 years old, I've no money and no prospects and I am already a burden on my parents (little Pride and Prejudice joke for y'all). Truthfully, I'm Kate, I'm 29 from Australia. I discovered travelling at the ripe age of 20 when I saved up for a year and went on a 6 month university exchange to London. In that time, I tried to travel as much as I could afford. I LOVED EVERY SECOND. So now, every penny I have I sink into travel. No regrets. My travel is predominantly Europe and North America based, as I lived in Washington DC for ~2 years recently. I would love to get around to more countries and continents. I have a dream for African safaris (but how can you pick which country? Which big-5? Which vibe?), China and other parts of Asia, and of course South America. But the big one...the big dream? That's all Antarctica. Life goal is to go on a cruise to Antarctica and set foot on the elusive 7th continent. I do work, I work as a wellbeing coordinator for a veterans advocacy firm. I am also finishing up some studies to move into the field of counselling, which is the field where my business I am creating is. I have a passion for the helping industries, and my business is aiming to find a way to combine counselling with travel. That's me in a nutshell!
