About Me
I am a second year PhD student in the Classics Department at Trinity College Dublin. My current research explores the role of animals in the Roman arena games using an interdisciplinary approach that incorporates both ancient archaeological evidence and modern zoological studies (as well as my personal experience in captive animal management). I have 4 years of work and volunteer experience collectively from zoos in New Zealand (Auckland Zoo), and Ireland (Dublin Zoo). My plan is to strength my knowledge of animal management by gaining valuable volunteer experience at Florida's Forest Animal Rescue, whilst also fulfilling my passion for helping animals in rehabilitation.
