I am a second year college student at the University of Maine at Farmington. I just recently declared a major in Anthropology and I am hoping to declare a Spanish minor and a Latin American and Caribbean Studies minor. Eventually, I would like to go on to get a doctorate degree in Anthropology or a related field. I love to travel and have been to about 15 U.S. states, two Canadian provinces, and four other foreign countries (all in Latin America). I am determined to participate in this study abroad program to Peru as it will help me to expand my horizons, immerse me in a vibrant culture and language, and advance my studies in the Anthropology field.
