My name is Viki. I am 21 years old, I live in a hungarian town in Romania. I am about to finish my studies as a medical assistant. I choose this path because I always wanted to work in health care, for more reasons, but the most important reason is that I want to support people in need in every way i can. Unfortunately I had the chance to experience how vulnerable a patient can be through my parents, who both died at the hospital, and left the world without a kind word from the medical group back then. I decided, that as much as I can I will try to make a change, and become a doctor, who besides giving treatment, gives a lot of emotional support even if a patient cant be saved. Medical school had to be postponed due to financial problems, but I will never give up on this dream.
