Krystle Green

About Me

Hello all! My name is Krystle Green and I am the PROUD mother of Miss Lyric Talitha Green! As most of you know, Lyric is truly a remarkable child! When choosing her name, her dad and I had no idea how her namesake would truly describe her love and passion for music. Lyric's middle name "Talitha" was given to her by her great grandmother well before she was born and as quick as Lyric came into this world, she almost left us just the same. "Talitha" is an origin in the Bible, "little girl, get up," or "child, arise," as Luke interprets it (Luke 8:54) Jesus is believed to have brought a young girl back to life by uttering the phrase “talitha cumi.” After that experience, there was no doubt in our mind that that little girl was here for a reason, a mission to leave her beautiful musical mark on this earth! Lyric loves everything there is about music! She was singing before she could talk. The first instrument she learn to play was piano, and was introduce to string instruments, the violin in just the 3rd grade! Lyric has only been playing double bass for less than 2 years and it has already unlock so many wonderful opportunity, such as this one to Julliard! Not only is this an amazing opportunity for Lyric, but it's the school she wishes to attend after high school, so for her to be afforded this moment is incredible! We hope that whoever reads this, we hope that you find it in your heart to support Lyric's Julliard Journey to New York City!
