About Me
Dear reader; I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to you today with a deep longing in my heart and a plea for your help. My name is Laura Apolito, a Dominican woman who has found a home in Peru, and I am reaching out to you in the hopes of making a dream come true. Throughout my life, I have faced numerous challenges and obstacles, but I have always found the strength to persevere. One of the greatest joys in my life is being a mother to my 4-year-old son, brimming with energy and curiosity, and my sweet 9-month-old baby girl. Every day, my heart is filled with love and gratitude as I witness their growth and development. However, due to the economic difficulties we have faced, I have been unable to take my children to the Dominican Republic to introduce them to my family. My deepest concern lies with my father, an elderly man who has bravely survived two heart attacks but whose health remains fragile. His unwavering love and support have been the pillars of my life, and I yearn for him to meet his youngest granddaughter. The distance that separates us is an ache in my heart, and the desire to be reunited as a family grows stronger with each passing day. I cannot bear the thought of missing out on the smiles, the laughter, and the warm embraces we should be sharing. I long for my father to hold his granddaughter in his arms, to feel her tender embrace, and to create indelible memories together. In my desperation and hope, I turn to your generosity and empathy. I humbly request that you consider helping us make this family dream a reality. Every small contribution brings us closer to the possibility of being reunited and experiencing moments of joy and love together. I deeply appreciate your attention and support. Each act of solidarity fills us with hope and propels us towards our goal. My family and I eagerly await the day when we can embrace our loved ones and relish in the happiness of being together once again. Thank you for becoming a part of our story and for considering helping us fulfill this heartfelt longing. With sincere gratitude, Laura Apolito
