I am currently a Junior at NC State University studying zoology with minors in both environmental science and history. I grew up in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with a passion for animals and natural sciences so I tried to get involved as much as I could, including going to a marine science summer camp for eight years, volunteering with a UNC raptor program in high school, and just tromping around my backyard! I plan to further pursue my interest in animals and the natural world in grad school and to work in conservation once I am done with all of my schooling. I am particularly interested in vultures and how to best prevent their further decline and how to encourage the public to care more about them!
