Hello to all! I'm Leah, and I'm currently on a gap year for college. I live in the Chicagoland area and have rarely gone further than that. I've come across an opportunity to travel to across the world to South Africa. Traveling has always been a dream of mine, yet I've never been out the country in all my 20 so years. This trip with allow me to volunteer there for some time as well as witness the wildlife and interact with them in their own familiar land. I wish to broaden the knowledge I have of the world not through the screen, but experience. I enjoy learning about different cultures and lands and hope to one day continue my studies abroad. This trip will certainly help me get a handle on things outside the country.
