About Me

I am a proud University of Oregon Duck looking to leave the world a little better than I found it. I currently study Psychology with minors in nonprofit administration and global/public health. My eyes of global public stem from my study abroad experience in 2017 through Semester at Sea. During this journey we traveled to Germany, Spain, Ghana, South Africa, India, Myanmar, Vietnam, China, and Japan. My time in India was one of the most substantial times of my life. When I returned home I knew I wanted to go back to India and immerse myself in their incredible culture. It would be an honor for me to learn how local and large nonprofits help underprivileged populations. Currently I am working for an incredible nonprofit in Eugene called Mobility International USA. Their mission is "To empower people with disabilities to achieve their human rights through international exchange and international development." I have been helping out with the Women's Institute on Leadership and Disability (WILD) coordinating a conference for disabled women activists to gather and set global initiatives for people with disabilities. I also have been working on multiple exchange programs that are bringing students with disabilities from all over the world to study in the US. If you'd like to learn more please visit their page: http://www.miusa.org/ In my spare time I love to work out, hike, play football and volleyball, and just be outdoors. Art is also a large part of my life, a spend a lot of my time drawing and painting. My favorite days are when I'm able to have a new adventure whether its in a new coffee shop or across the planet.
