I was raised in a farming community in western Nebraska. I attended Mid-Plains Community College in North Platte, NE were I graduated with an associate's in 2016. I love camping,horses,and coffee. I want to take this long distance hiking journey to prove to my family and friends that it is possible without dying. I also want to share my experiences on the trail to change people negative perspective on hikers, and maybe inspire someone else to get into hiking along the way.
