About Me

Hello! My name is Maggie, and this summer I will be traveling to Zambia to volunteer at early childhood and primary education centers. Education has always been my passion, and I’m excited to bring my experience and energy to classrooms abroad. I’ve been working in early childhood education for the past five years, supporting children’s growth and development through play-based learning, inclusive practices, and a deep commitment to creating safe and welcoming spaces for every child. Currently, I’m pursuing a double major in Early Childhood Education and Social Work at the University of Montana. My studies and hands-on classroom experience continually inspire me to advocate for accessible, high-quality education for all children, no matter where they live. This volunteer trip to Zambia will give me the chance to contribute my skills while also learning from teachers, families, and communities in a different cultural setting. I hope to bring back new perspectives that will enrich my future work as both an educator and a social worker. Your support—whether through donations, sharing this page, or words of encouragement—means so much. Together, we can help make a lasting impact on the lives of children in Zambia and beyond.
