My name is Maiya Campbell, and I am a senior at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University studying Speech-Language Pathology. I am deeply passionate about becoming a pediatric speech-language pathologist, specifically working with children who are less fortunate and may not have access to essential services. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to communicate and be truly understood. This study abroad experience in Belize will provide hands-on learning, cultural insight, and practical skills that will empower me to make a meaningful and lasting impact in the lives of children and families who need support the most.
