My name is Khosi Mthethwa and I am from South Africa, Gauteng Province. I am 47 years of age and passionately want to take this leap of faith and explore teaching abroad! I have been teaching to underprivileged children affected and infected by HIV/AIDS pandemic whom most of them (if not all) come from poor and orphaned backgrounds. I have been teaching passionately for 9 years now with the most minimum of wages, but that was not the issue as I have no children of my own and seeing them, guiding my "kids", was heaven enough for me. Therefore, I was not able to save up a LOT of money for opportunities and circumstances that prevailed to me now, however, I have no words but to express the sadness I feel to leave my" kids" and take this once in a lifetime chance. I have applied and was successfully considered for a position to volunteer to teach English in Vietnam as of end of January 2020...Yes I still had to interview and go through the employment process to be considered to volunteer. I unfortunately cannot postpone or cancel this awaited opportunity and humbly ask your contributions towards buying a flight ticket to Vietnam and .
