Hello! I am a sophomore at the University of Georgia studying Environmental Health with a minor in Spanish. Some of my favorite things are stingrays, dinosaurs, tiramisu, and music. I am currently raising funds for a study abroad program in Costa Rica. This program would mean the world to me because I have always wanted to travel, despite having only been to two states besides Georgia. I don't think I'd be able to leave the country without this opportunity, and I know it will make all the difference to be present in a Spanish-speaking country while learning Spanish. I am passionate about this project because my boyfriend's family only speaks Spanish, and I would love to build my skills so I can communicate with them. As an environmentalist, I am also excited about the opportunity to visit Costa Rica, as it is one of the most biodiverse countries in the world. I would love to find organizations to get involved with or donate to. I am always looking for a way to make a meaningful impact!
