Hi! My name is Melisa, and I'm an aspiring teacher from Singapore! Singapore is located in Southeast Asia, with Malaysia as its closest neighbour. We speak English as our primary language, and most of us are fluent in another language too. I grew up learning and speaking English and Mandarin. I'm also learning French. I'm a linguistics major, and I couldn't be happier with my choice in major. I am especially interested in World Englishes (different varieties of English in the world) and Language Typology (structure of languages in the world).
