My name is Najuequa Barnes and I'm a data privacy consultant in Jamaica. With the introduction of the Data Protection Act, 2020, I take a hand-holding approach in helping businesses become compliant with data privacy regulations. I am particularly passionate about providing data privacy training to businesses, to bring awareness to the importance of integrating and cultivating a culture of data privacy as part of their businesses' operations. I'm excited to learn and explore more advanced data privacy best practices, so that knowledge can be transferred to businesses in Jamaica and the wider region, as we seek to develop in this area.
