About Me

My name is Nasir. I’m someone learning to live with intention—healing, creating, and rebuilding a life that feels honest and whole. After serving in the U.S. military and being diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2016, I began a deep journey of healing and self-reclamation. That path has taken me through cities, spiritual frameworks, therapies, and countless inner transformations. Today, I’m in a grounded chapter of my life: changing my name, reconnecting with joy, and choosing wholeness one step at a time. As a 100% disabled veteran, I live with both limitations and liberations. But I also move with purpose. This upcoming trip to Thailand is my first international solo journey—and it’s more than a personal milestone. Through Worldpackers, I’ll be volunteering with local communities, exchanging time, care, and skills. This isn’t just about where I’m going—it’s about how I’m showing up: to give, to listen, and to grow in connection with others. Your support doesn’t just help me travel. It helps me live into a new chapter grounded in service, sacred remembrance, and becoming.
