About Me
Thank you for stopping by my page. I guess by now you've figured out that I love to travel. I love to travel just as much as I like exploring new cultures and learning new things. I took my very first International flight to Spain in February 2009 with the help of a friend who worked for the now-defunct US Airways. While there I participated in a program teaching native Spanish speakers English. It was the experience of a lifetime. I received a Certificate to Teach English to Adults and was off to South Korea to teach English to Middle School students in the Fall. Living abroad has been one of my dreams since college, and in my late thirties, I was finally able to make it happen. Travel is the best education, as you would never be able to meet and see the places you've only read about up close. The challenge of practicing a new language, hoping your gestures make sense, and figuring out If money were no object at all, I would happily spend time traveling to different countries, learning new languages, and volunteering around the world. I taught English as a Second Language in South Korea but did not have time to learn Korean how I wanted because I was busy teaching English. I would love to learn Spanish, French, Swahili, Twi, Arabic, Korean, and Mandarin, but it becomes challenging when you are busy in the USA trying to make a living. Now I am ready to travel with a purpose. If you've always wanted to travel, but can't just yet, you can live vicariously through me. I will keep in touch and inform you every step of the way. Ciao for Now, Tasha
