Hi, my name is Nia Taala. I’m the daughter of an incredible man who raised 8 children on his own after my mom passed away in 2005. My father is now 71 years old, and despite the hardships he's faced—including the loss of two of my siblings—he’s always stayed strong for our family. In 2023, I moved from Oregon to American Samoa with my little family, and I’m now the only one here with him. I want to help my dad travel to the U.S. to visit his children and grandchildren—something he’s dreamed of doing before it’s too late.
