Hello, my name is Niall Miller-Clark and I'm 12 years old, I have been given a remarkable chance to go on a trip to Kenya which will take place in July 2019 for 2 weeks. This chance gives me the opportunity to help and support children in schools, assisting teachers with lessons, reading stories, preparing meals and playing games and sports. I know this will be a challenging and eye opening experience, but I will cherish forever the contribution I can give to these children. I am working alongside a company called African Adventures. African Adventures provides humanitarian and financial support to 27 educational partner projects, giving the lives of over 20,000 children around Africa the access to education across 3 different countries: Kenya, Ghana and Zanzibar. These trips give volunteers the opportunity to embark on a life-changing journey and contribute to development at the projects through teaching assistance, vital building work and sports coaching. The projects are run by the local people, who will provide any support that is needed to the schools and children, who we will be helping for 2 weeks.
