About Me
Bonjour everyone! My name is Ojaswi. I was born and raised in Nepal, moved to the US for my undergraduate studies in Economics in 2021. Now, I find myself in the Aix-en Provence of South of France for to semester exchange program. During my time in France, I aim to make the most of this incredible opportunity by exploring as much of Europe as I can. Having already visited Spain twice, I'm going to the northern part of Italy in bus this weekend to see the Egyptian Museum in Turin—the journey that fuels my passion for cultural discovery. Ever since I can remember, I've always dreamt of studying abroad, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and exploring the world. Fluent in four languages—Nepali, Hindi, English, and Urdu—and having dedicated five years to learning Mandarin, I am now exploring my linguistic passion for French language. I started learning French during the pandemic after finding one of my favourite book called "Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Milan Kundera. This book was originally written in French. I wanted to start learning French so one day I could actually read my favourite classic in French. I continue to love learning this language as much as I did when I got started in Duolingo :) As an international student in France, funding both my education and my backpacking dreams poses strong financial challenge. While backpacking is known for its budget-friendly nature, the financial constraints of being an international student with no income amid the visa restrictions to work make it a juggling act. I am reaching out to you, my cherished community, to seek support for my educational journey and the voyage that follows. Your contributions will not only aid in covering educational expenses but also empower me to travel around the world, navigate its public transportation systems, meeting diverse people and understanding their ways of life. I can't explain in words how much I love observing and experiencing different ways of life, anything from how different the water tastes, to the food, dialects, humor and the list goes on. It would mean the world to me to have your support in living this dream of mine :) Appreciate you all. Thank you so much :) Best, Ojaswi
