My name is Olga E. Pierre Calzado, born in Cuba. At the age of 20, I went to Spain to volunteer for two years in a Christian school run by Seventh-Day Adventist. when I tried to return to my country, the Cuban government enforced a law for tourist, which didn't apply to me. It stated that to maintain residency in Cuba, one must return within 11 months. Unfortunately, I lost my right to live in my homeland, only able to visit. Thus, I found myself without residency anywhere. It took nine years until I could visit my parents again. Due to the economic challenges I have faced, decides to emigrate once more, and now I live in Scotland. It's another country that's offering me man y opportunities, and I hope my efforts will bear fruit. However, this year I'll turn 40 and I'd love to go on a trip with my mother. She's ill in Cuba, and to bring her to Europe and travel together, I need an impossible amount for me - around £ 12 000. I haven't seen her in five years, and I assist with her maintenance, making it impossible for me to cover both our living expenses and save for this trip.
