Hi! My name is Olivia. I am currently a Junior at a New Jersey University studying Mathematics and Secondary Education. I have wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember, and am extremely passionate about being the educator that makes a difference in a child's educational journey. Along with my Education Certification, I will also be graduating with a Certification in Teaching Students with Disabilities. I look forward to creating an educational environment for my students that is ALWAYS safe, while promoting creativity and exploring the strengths of each and every student. I enjoy being active and working within my Community to share the importance of prioritizing self-care and mind/body connection. Some of my hobbies include hiking, reading, and spending lots of free time by the ocean. In May of 2023, I will have completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training and am excited to be able to share a practice that will hopefully spread peace and gratitude for life. In three short months, I will have the opportunity to donate my time in Arusha, Tanzania volunteering as a teacher for children ages 6-14. I am really looking forward to my journey with IVHQ. I am extremely excited to have this chance to embrace my passion as well as explore new cultures and diversities with children in ways I never imagined.
