I am a Junior at the University of Pittsburgh. I major in Global management and have taken two years of Arabic. I am the son to a widowed mother who is studying abroad in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the fall of 2019. My father was Egyptian and as a goal I plan to learn Arabic, not in his honor but for me. I will honor him by creating my own path and becoming my own man while understanding his background a little more in learning his language and culture and being able to speak with my relatives in Egypt. I plan to one day work in Dubai as a business man, all I know is that my drive and grit are unparalleled that once I set my mind to do something I can accomplish it. I know whatever I end up doing I am going to be amazing at it but its one step at a time in this journey called life. My next step is studying abroad in Sharjah but am still trying to raise funding to afford this trip. It is expensive and the costs do not even include food or airfare.
