Our mission is to provide volunteers from across the globe with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain veterinary experience while treating small, large, and exotic animals throughout the Eastern Cape of South Africa.
GVE is a veterinary volunteer program in South Africa that provides veterinary experience for students while treating the animals in our community. We work with small animals in disadvantaged communities, farm animals in a production setting, and exotic wildlife in private game reserves. This hands-on program is geared toward those who want to help animals in disadvantaged communities, are interested in exploring the various aspects of veterinary medicine, and want a truly unforgettable experience!
