Universidad Veritas was originally established in 1968 as the Technical Institute for Business Administration (ITAN) and by 1976 it became part of the first private university of Costa Rica, UACA. In 1994 it evolved into what it is today, Universidad Veritas, specializing in design, architecture and sustainability. The Center for International Programs at Universidad Veritas has over 20 years of experience providing study abroad programs, ranging from 2 to 16 weeks. During this time students can take English or Spanish Taught courses in a variety of fields, Spanish Learning courses, Gap Year, International Workshops, Internships and Study with Locals. Stemming from our commitment to sustainability, Veritas is developing a Biocenter in Guanacaste, a home for workshops, courses and community outreach activities that will support the university┬┤s new pillars of innovation and sustainability.
