My name is Peris. I was born and raised in Nanyuki, Kenya. I am 26 years old and all my life, I have never left my birth town until recently. I attended an agricultural expo in one of the showgrounds in my town and met a cool girl from the Kenyan coast. We connected immediately and she invited me to go visit Mombasa some day. I was full of mixed emotions, since my family never had a travelling culture and since I am a grown-up woman, I decided to give it a shot. And oh my!! I couldn't believe what I have been missing. The sandy beaches, the humid hot weather, amzing swahili cuisine, creative jewellery, hisorical structure, wildlife, and so much more. It's a shame I couldn't exhaust everything during my brief stay. The place was ecstatic and after my visit, I mmediately knew wanted to try visiting new places though I am short of funds. I would like to explore Malindi, Nyali Chyulu hills and perhaps cross the Tanzanian boarder to Zanzibar. I feel so excied about this and hope to discover other amazing things in these areas.
