Hi - Thank you for visiting my Fund My Travel Page and for taking the time to get to know me in a cyber manner. I love adventure, travelling, and challenging myself with projects. I care passionately for Education, Community, and in the value of caring for each other, respecting each other as individuals, learning from each other, learning from ourselves. When I was a teenager I visited Gambia in West Africa. I was introduced to someone who visited annually to work with various communities. It was a huge privilege to have been invited to have spent the day visiting a local village, and gain valuable insight into the way of life from a completely different way of life, and including the shock of poverty. My visit to Gambia then sparked my drive to eventually be part of a International Community Project, the opportunity arose purely by accident, in which I am delighted to have embraced. I am most interested in the refurbishment/labouring role as part of the trip, with the aim to transform the classrooms into stimulating, bright and cheerful environments. I feel strongly that environment plays a critical key with our development.
