As some of you know, I have recently lost both my parents, whilst Dad's was somewhat expected, Mum's wasn't! At the start of The COVID-19 pandemic, I had been volunteering as part of the vaccination stewarding team, but steadily my mum's health started to deteriorate to the point where I needed to provide help for her as well as my dad, so reluctantly I had to give up my volunteering. Singing is a major part of my life, finally finding a church choir where I felt welcomed and comfortable has been a long journey. It was during the lockdown period I became involved with Choir of the Earth (formerly known as The Self-Isolation Choir). I have been involved with recording songs for both the Queen's funeral and King Charle Coronation. I recently received an email from Choir of the Earth (USA), inviting me to take part in a Choir Residency at the Cathedral of St Philip in Atalanta. I'm really finding it difficult to put into words what this means to me, but those who know me will know!
