Hi everyone, my name is Rebecca, and I am a Biomedical Science major at Arizona State University. My dream is to have a career in healthcare, providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care, especially for women, Native Americans, and other underserved groups. Currently, I am working at a dementia care unit, which has taught me the value of truly listening to people and making them feel like they are being supported. In addition, I am also taking a certificate program in Hospice and Palliative Care. In Fall of 2026, I will also be studying abroad in Milan, Italy for 12 weeks. This is something am looking forward to, as it will allow me to experience a new culture, learn new things, and take all of this back with me so that I can become the type of healthcare provider that I have always wanted to be.
