About Me

Hi, my name is Renae and I'm a junior studying at the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY. I completed my Associate's Degree in Independent Studies at Jamestown Community College in Jamestown, NY, then I transferred to the University of Rochester to continue a focused degree on American Sign Language with a minor in Music Performance. Through my time at the University, I've joined a multitude of organizations and have earned multiple leadership positions within such organizations. Including three current positions in the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Epsilon Tau chapter, as the Housing Chair, Recording Secretary, and Membership Activities Chair (or Sisterhood Chair). I am also the Fellowship Chair (or Brotherhood Chair) of the Alpha Phi Omega Fraternity, Mu Lambda chapter. In addition, I am the Vice President of Administration of the Panhellenic Association at the University of Rochester as well as the secretary of the Transfer and Commuter Organization. As of recently, I have also been accepted as an Orientation Leader for the 2025-2026 academic year. Through many opportunities at the University, I've also been a mentee in the Meliora Collective Mentorship Program, and a participating individual of the school's Medallion Program which helps form and promote aspects of leadership through workshops, classes, and projects. Although I have found love in all of my leadership roles, I also dedicate my time to my hobbies such as: reading (as a member of the UR Book Club), crocheting, bicycling, going on walks, playing flute (in the UR Wind Symphony), going to live music concerts, painting my nails, and enjoying social hour with my friends. Along with these, I enjoy opportunities in which I can help the community in any way, such as helping out at the House of Mercy, a shelter and reformation institute for women and girls.
